{Political_Views} re;political_views yahoo group

The sister groups of this one was shut down today. The owners said it had become more of a slam this slam that type of group.

I have to ask is it because of me that this group suddenly shut down? Or is it because they were bored with it? To me expressing one's political views include
the posting of articles and then having reply's about it. I also am not in favor of assassination of any leader of any country. I post stories I think were of interest
in what is going on in the world. I read what is posted and if I feel they are wrong check it out and refute it if I find wrong.

I had only been a member for a couple of months and if in anyway my postings were objectionable I would have wished to hear about it. Not everyone will agrees about everything and their are some weird and violent people out in the world and they are all not in the Middle East as we have seen by the actions of Tea Party
 Members carrying guns to political rallies and the shooting of Gabby in Arizona and putting bulls eyes on people on political websites.
 To me this country The United States is the most violent country on this planet.
We have been brought up on it from day one with movies, games, and TV. We have been at almost continuous war since 1848 and the biggest thing we export
is weapons to whom ever can buy them.

So if in anyway I am the cause because I express a difference of opinion I apologize. But as I have said with this group and I wish the members would reply with post of their own, and give their thoughts about the stories posted by me and Salty Jamie, so we can debate. To me that is what a political group is meant to be. A liberal open discourse of opinions and ideas from all spectrum's. Not
just agreement with everything.

I do not have the members names of the yahoo group but if anyone does know them tell them they and their opinions are welcomed here. The conduct I do not like is racial name calling, obscenity, the outright calling for the killing of people or political leaders by members. Posting a news article about a plot or plan to cause violence is acceptable. It is after all news, much of which is not reported
by the corporate controlled media in the USA or Government controlled media in other countries.
