Very good post. I was retired but am now semi retired. A local contractor who does home repairs hires me to work 3-4 days a week 4 hours a day purchassing supplies for his bussiness. I never heard of this list but since I started last August everything I bought was made in America. When he did his quarterly audit he discovered that we were spending less money on supplies because of the quality of product.
Carpets from Georgia, and yes those nails, as well a Moen and Kohler from Wisconsin. All I did was take his list of supplies and Googled them.
Sad part is that most are small bussiness operations and the biggest competition comes not from Lowes or Home Depot but from Wal-Mart which used to brag about Made in the USA but today sells almost nothing made in this country. In fact Wal-Mart goes around to mom and pop and small operations to see what they sell and charge and then under cuts the price until the people go out of bussiness. then they raise their price up.

This is very interesting. Please watch this & then forward it along.
Take a minute to watch this video to the end before you go to Home Depot or Lowes.
