Boehner: Pelosi Made Debt Reduction Meeting "Uncomfortable"
WASHINGTON (BHN) - Speaker of the House John Boehner said that debt reduction talks at the White House over the weekend were "extremely uncomfortable," but not because of anything discussed.
"All I'll say is the next time Nancy's claw finds it way to my crotch area, she's going to lose it," Boehner said Monday morning to reporters. The pointed remark was in answer to a question about a photo of the meeting showing Nancy Pelosi obviously enjoying herself at the expense of a clearly agitated Boehner, while President Obama looks on.
Mrs. Pelosi's office released a statement calling Boehner's accusation "wishful thinking," and said she was "merely searching for common ground."
My comments: I hope this traumatic event doesn't turn Boehner into an alcoholic, or worse, gay...
