Considering the spills that have taken place worldwide and rarely even get mentioned in the corporate controlled media, a pipeline break in the Midwest grain belt would be a disaster. And if you do not think it cannot happen think again. A nutcase, a terrorist any extreme group could do it. Does anyone think that they can provide security for thousands of miles? Not to mention it would also run through Canada's grain belt also.
