{Political_Views} REASONS TO VOTE DEMOCRATIC IN 2012

REASONS;
1-- Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and other Republicon's are promoting policies similar to or often worse than those that had such disastrous results during the Bush administration, (in fact they are acting as if the Bush administration never happened.) including converting a three-year major surplus 1998-2000, which was on a track to completely eliminate the total federal debt, into a major defect, creating very few net jobs (none in the private sector), and leaving the country on the brink if not already into a depression.

2-- Republicons have obstructed efforts to get our country out of a tremendous ditch they left us in by voting no and sometimes filibustering many Democratic proposals, some of which they previously supported and sometimes even co-sponsored. Hence, it is not surprising that a recent poll showed that 49% of Americans believe that the Republicon Congress members are purposely sabotaging the U.S. economy in order to defeat Obama and other Democrats, while only 32% disagree. (Remember Mitch O'Connell "We will do anything to ensure that this man is a one term President." Which means "The people be dammed let them eat cake.")

3-- Republicons support continued tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans and highly profitable corporations, while basic social services that middle class people and the poor depend on are being cut and teachers, police, officers, fire fighters, and others are loosing their jobs.

4-- Republicon legislators have voted against providing funds to save jobs of teachers, police officers and fire fighters. Against providing unemployment benefits to long-time (many who are in their late 40's, 50's and early 60's and had jobs for 15 to 30 years), and against providing medical benefits to 9/11 responders. (A last minuet clause inserting by house Republicons to the bill said that they have to prove that their medical problems were the cause of 9/11).

5--Republicons are generally in denial about the tremendous dangers from climate change, in spite of a very strong consensus in peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and statements by scientific academies ( a bit of sarcasm here folks after seeing many right wing and hearing many right wings evangelicals and their position on education many even deny science and academic and education altogether.) all over the world that climate change is a major threat, largely caused by human activities, and many wake-up calls we have been receiving of severs storms, tornados, floods, heat waves, droughts, and wildfires, (they also cannot call it Climate Change they have to call it by the misnomer Global Warming, just like they cannot call it the Affordable Health Care Act but insist it's really called Obamacare). Anyone who thinks climate change is a hoax promoted by liberals should visit the website of the "Republicans for Environmental Protection." ( www.rep.org ).
This conservative group was only able to endorse four percent of Republicons in the 2010 U.S. midterm elections because so many Republicons are in denial about climate change and other environmental threats. Paul Ryan is a climate denier and has a miserable record on the environment. Please check it out;

6-- The Republicon Party has moved far to the extremist right under the influence of the Tea Party and the far right extreme Evangelical's. Their are very few moderate Republicons in Congress today.

7--Republicons will vote their party line even though they are  against what the parties opinion is and have spoken out in favor of the other opinion.
